Kapono Sullivan is a 2025 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-2 198 lb. frame from Lihue, HI who attends Kauai. Large frame with sturdy, muscular build and nice athletic actions and more to come. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Primary position RHP, working from the 3B side of the rubber and loading well with belt high leg lift. Works down the slope closed and leaves himself in a good spot to turn hard to release point. Some deception with a touch of crossbody direction and hides the ball well as the ball jumps on hitters. Low-to-mid-80s fastball peaking at 86 mph with occasional cutting action. Two distinct breaking ball with advanced spin traits. Vertical curve in the upper-60s with depth and firm slider with tight tilt in the mid-70s. Went 3.0 IP of hitless ball in game action. Secondary corner infielder, making plays with firm glove action and showed some comfort to the backhand side. Full arm action here creating 87 mph velo across the diamond. Handles himself well on the clay. Right handed hitter, working from an even base and good handset tight to the body. Compact stroke working directly to the ball and showed best impact to the pull side producing hard line drives. Stays on the barrel with good power projection and present strength at impact. Good two-way skillset and an outstanding student as well.
