Drew Speegle is a 2025 OF/1B with a 5-11 149 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Etowah. Recorded a 7.61 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a high-waist frame and lean build. Works through the ball with deliberate one-hand gather and calculated actions. Deep gather with clean exchange and longer arm stroke on throws from a higher arm slot release to the bases at 78 mph. Waits back on the ball in the infield with good hands and shorter arm stroke with quicker release on throws across the diamond at 74 mph. Relaxed actions at both spots with emphasis on arm strength to complete the play. Right-handed pitcher with drop-and-drive mechanics from the middle of the rubber. Slightly closed landing getting down the slope with crossfire 3/4 arm slot delivery. Fastball up to 76 mph (2149 RPM) and a big breaking ball with depth at 66 mph (1957 RPM). Projectable frame to add size and strength with solid delivery and feel for the strike zone with upside on the mound. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and open stance in the box. Short knee-lift trigger early stride with high back elbow slot. Rotational bat path with extension through the zone. Good student.
