Braeden Oviedo is a 2025 3B/SS with a 5-8 190 lb. frame from Martinsburg, WV who attends Martinsburg. Compact build with very good strength. Primary third baseman on defense, has quick and active feet and comes to the ball well, quick and clean arm action with good carry on his throws, gets rid of the ball quickly, plays with energy, could see this playing well at second base, too. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a tight and still hand load, somewhat abrupt swing, is short and direct to the ball and swings hard, strength is an asset for him and he gets good jump when the barrel gets out, hit well in games and squared up an 89 mph hard to right center field. Solid all around player with strength and some skills. Excellent student. Named to the Coastal Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
