Ryan Cornelius is a 2021 OF/SS with a 5-11 176 lb. frame from White Lake, MI who attends Walled Lake Northern. Medium frame with lean, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.82 seconds. Hits from wider-spread stance with slightly open front hip, drops hands down into load, gets on plane, linear path with whole-field approach, shows good weight shift into swing, showed ability to cover the plate well with high-contact approach. Worked out in the outfield, attacks the ball and moves in well, developing hand actions at the ball, gets full body into throws, clocked up to 78 mph on throws back to the infield. Good student.
