Alfredo Silva is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-0 194 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Archbishop Carroll HS. Has a large frame, length to build, and plenty of room to continue to fill out as he puts on additional muscle. On the mound, stays online in delivery with solid leg drive to the plate. Has good glove side mechanics and lands in a position to field the baseball. Delivery stays repeatable and has deception with how he hides the baseball though his windup. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with short arm action in the back. Fastball has riding life in the zone with solid arm side run and sink when down in the zone. Curveball has 11/5 shape with solid depth and sharpness, changeup has good sinking action down in the zone. Has an idea how to pitch, should continue to develop nicely. Great student.
