Oscar Urbina is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-8 142 lb. frame from Rohnert Park, CA who attends Rancho Cotate. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Stacks backside into load when hitting, rotational swing through torso, on line drive swing plane with barrel with some extension through contact. Hits off backside, hands show looseness and whip, flashes some loft in swing plane, stays committed to the middle of the field and is comfortable working the opposite way as well. Worked out defensively in the outfield, lines it up and moves in on ball well, fields cleanly, throws downhill from directly over top arm slot and shows quality arm strength, clocked up to 80 MPH on throws. Very good student.
