RJ Groomster is a 2026 OF/2B with a 5-11 172 lb. frame from Pooler, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.46 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has good fundamentals and obvious athleticism, carries his momentum well through his throws, makes on line accurate throws. Also worked out in the infield here and shows lots of potential as a future second baseman, hands work very well and will have plus range at whichever position he plays on the field. High level utility potential. Right handed hitter, has busy hands that are very quick once they fire, fast and short swing with some pop when he squares it up, has shown good barrel control in the past. Has re-classified from the 2025 class. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
