Jordon Bolt-Jackson is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-2 172 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends James Madison HS. Bolt-Jackson has a lean athletic build with room to fill out and add strength. Primary Pitcher up to 83, works exclusively from the stretch, stays tall on backside keeping weight over back foot. Online direct towards plate, arm is loose and works well with good arm speed. Velocity projects with minor adjustment in lower half. Had 3/4 slot and has good plane with fastball. Works both sides of the plate. Hide ball well and had good mix of pitches to keep hitters honest. Curveball had 10/5 shape with good depth, and mixed in straight change that he maintained his arm speed on. hit from a slightly open stance, shows good bat speed with good weight transfer into swing. Line drive plane with lift, hit to all fields. Defensively, primary OF, easy actions with good footwork to ball, got under throws a bit but showed carry. On the INF, lowers arm slot a bit and it works well from slot, has sure actions and glove work.
