2016 Mid Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Christopher Flynn is a 2017 3B/MIF, C, SS, UT, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Randolph, NJ who attends Randolph High School. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front and works through the backhand well, extra step at release, works to a three-quarters arm slot and shows accuracy across the diamond. Fuller arm action from the outfield as well, moves well to the ball and works behind it, fields the ball out front, longer release but gets on top of throws and keeps them down. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a medium hand set in the box. Gets closed with short stride, upper body dominant swing, keeps hands in through swing and shows a pull side approach. Uses physical strength well and shows carry of the barrel when squared up, nice rhythm to stance and swing, finds the barrel well.
