Isaac Martinez is a 2017 OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Irvine, CA who attends Orange Lutheran HS. Medium frame with a solid build and beginnings of present strength. Ran a 7.15 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with loose, athletic actions while closing to and working through the baseball. Clean glove actions with smooth exchanges while working though transfer. Baseball comes out of hand cleanly with a long, loose arm action topping at 83 mph. Throws produced solid carry to the bag with accuracy. Left handed hitter with and open stance. Hands launch on a short, compact path tot contact generating a naturally lifted plane through extension. Consistently squared up contact generating rising line drives between the outfield gaps. Controlled the barrel throughout the zone with the ability to hit the ball to all fields as well. Stays balanced throughout and repeats with path with solid fluidity. Tools will continue to develop on each side with physical maturity. Very good student as well.
