Davis Morrison is a 2027 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Pace Academy. Big and strong young build. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high back elbow load, very upright set up, has good direction into his swing and was well timed with some feel for the barrel, mostly pull side contact, showed the ability to get to his power, nice combination of strength and balance for his age, bat projects very well. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up high in a side saddle stance, still developing his footwork and lower/upper body coordination throwing, has some young arm strength. Also plays first base and can see him there in the future depending on how his bat continues to develop. Also pitched, has a long arm action and creates good downhill plane. Fastball worked in the upper 70's with consistent cutting action, also threw some with deeper hard slider action. Interesting young bat to follow closely. Good student.
