14u BCS World Series Scout Notes

Sutton Mullins (2028, Delaware, Ohio) really shined on both sides of the ball this weekend and was a standout player for the Hit Dogs Illinois 14U squad. Mullins is 6-foot-3, 190 pounds with strength and physicality that projects nicely moving forward. He handled the bat well, with a wider & spread base, using the strength he had to leverage the ball well. He impacted it well with some really loud results. He added a double, plating 2 runs on the weekend with a 3-hit weekend. He also got on the mound and was able to attack hitters from a really tough angle and low-slot delivery. He worked up to 82 mph on the fastball, with a mid-60s breaking ball, keeping hitters off-balance. Mullins has plenty to like on both sides of the ball moving forward.
