Angel Z Medina is a 2026 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Saint Cloud, FL who attends Harmony. Solid medium frame with athletic lean build and wiry strength with plenty of time to add more muscularity. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.35 seconds. Primary position infielder, good mover on his feet creating proper angles and working the glove out front to quick midline transfer. Moving around well and shows feel for the position. Emerging accuracy with standard infielders arm path and nice strength producing throws up to 84 mph across the diamond. Secondary RHP, using the full windup and starting with hands below the belt. Medium leg lift and breaks hands at the belt into full inline arm path and accelerating through a 3/4 arm angle. Gets extended and repeats release as he fills up the zone. Fastball with nice tilt, dominating to the glove side up to 83 mph with some sinking action. Bigger curveball in the low-60s that needs some development and firmness. Added in a serviceable changeup with deadening spin and velo in the upper-60s. Switch hitter with a good setup from the right side. Rhythmic movements pre-pitch and gets a bit steep in his path but when on plane saw solid contact. From the left side, uses a bit more of a rotational approach. Tight handset here and uses more lower-half from this side. On the barrel with consistency and projects nicely as a switch-hitter. Very good student as well.
