Ford Stacy (2027, Canfield, Ohio) put together an MVP campaign over the course of the event, hitting for a blistering .727 average including three doubles, a triple, and 11 RBI which lead Beaver Valley Red to a comfortable Championship title. As an obvious key piece in the heart of the order, Stacy displayed plenty of weight shift from the lower half with solid torque of the hips, using the entire field to his advantage. He produced carry to the opposite field out of a broad physically built 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame that should continue to develop and mature in the future as a young ‘27 grad. Overall, Stacy was comfortable and confident in the box with repeat performances like this one expected to follow as we get deeper into the summer.
