Bret Potter is a 2023 OF/ with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Stevenson Ranch, CA who attends West Ranch. Large, physical frame with strength and athleticism currently on the frame. 6.97 60-yd and able to utilize it. Profiles as a corner outfielder with arm strength and tracking ability. Moved well in the outfield with the arm having length out of the glove through the 3/4 release. Athletic in the outfield and closed well. Offensively used an even base, with big leg kick and hands loading back. The bat path works upwards through the zone and is able to drive balls in batting practice. On the mound worked a delivery that had tempo and energy with the ability to sink off of a high front knee. The body turns slightly before the arm comes out of the high-3/4 release. Fastball (up to 81 MPH) is used mainly on the glove side. Curveball was long with curve bending deep through the zone. Skills and frame to make jumps in overall profile.
