2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 6)
Evenn Head is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends L.D. Bell. Nice athletic build with present muscularity and good agility on the field. Ran the 60 yard dash in a respectable 6.93 seconds. Primary position OF, with solid actions as he works through the ball and works the glove out front using a one hand gather to his midline. Squares up well to get in line with target and uses full arm swing getting on top of the ball with over the top slot. Creates good backspin on throws showing nice carry as he reached 84 mph on throws to bags. RHH with a balanced wide setup and inline to start. Deep hand set with a quiet load and really fires his hands with loose wrists getting the bat head on plane to impact. As his rhythm continues to improve the hard contact consistency will progress. Best contact was low liners to the pull side. Very good student with skills to watch closely.
