Jacob George is a 2022 C/1B/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Orange. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. 7.58 runner in the sixty. Sets up in a wide stance behind the plate defensively, has lower half quickness and gets his feet in good position to shift and throw, very good raw arm strength and has a quick glove to hand transfer, makes accurate throws, plenty of defensive tools to continue to develop. Right handed hitter, hits from a bent knee stance with good balance, showed sound plate presence and recognized pitches well, middle of the field line drive contact, can get his lower half into his swing more for additional bat speed. Excellent student.
