Cristian Angulo is a 2022 OF/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Thousand Palms, CA who attends Palm Desert. He ran a 7.34 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a lean athletic build. In the outfield he works under control to the baseball fielding it out front with smooth glove action and carrying his momentum into the throw, the arm action is long and clean through the back with good extension out front creating carry on the ball flight. At first base he he looked good onto double play feeds working through the ball with goo direction and cutting down the throw with good accuracy. Left-handed hitter, starts with an even base and upright stance, he showed simple pre-swing actions with a long smooth bat path and the ability to get the bat head out and impact the baseball to the pull side with good use of the lower half. Good student. Named to the 2021 California Workout Camp Session 6 Top Prospect List.
