Andrew Rudd is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Arlington. Large build with good present strength, posted a 7.70 in the 60. Good athlete at first base was light on his feet and moved very well. Confident glove with solid fielding mechanics, was aggressive to the ball with a strong arm. Very easy operation on the mound for the right handed pitcher, worked up-tempo with a clean delivery. Fastball showed some arm run topping out at 85 mph. Changeup was firm with good fade to it, 11/5 curveball action with impressive break. Good job maintaining a consistent arm. Right handed hitter generates some bat speed, short compact swing that cuts off the barrel. Strength flashes, but mechanics were stiff. Was named to 2021 California Workout Camp Session 3 Top Prospect List.
