Gamble Bye is a 2023 SS/2B with a 6-0 154 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Providence. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.43 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has athletic actions through the ball, presented the glove well and fielded the ball cleanly, arm was loose and made accurate throws, has the athleticism and actions to continue to play and improve in the middle infield. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a short stride and shift into contact, short and compact line drive swing with a pull to mid field contact, mature high contact approach, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Very good student.
