Tanner Gerosa is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Edison. He ran a 7.28 second sixty. A primary catcher with a average build. Behind the plate he starts with a side straddle stance gaining ground into his throws with a decent transfer, his arm action gets long at times causing a longer release with solid carry on his throws. In the outfield he took a passive approach to the ball fielding it deep and using a big crow hop to gain momentum into his throws with developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base using a leg lift trigger, he displayed solid hand strength at the point of contact staying connected well throughout the swing, he does nice job getting the barrel out front with some pop to all fields with his simple approach. Very good student. Named to the 2021 California Workout Camp Session 2 Top Prospect List.
