Jacob Bresnahan is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Sumner, WA who attends Sumner. Slender young build with good length and physical projection for a young pitcher. High leg lift delivery with good backside load over the rubber, throws from an over the top arm slot with good downhill plane. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with more velocity in there as he gets stronger, fastball is mostly straight. Still developing spin and feel for his breaking ball. 7.58 runner in the sixty. Showed his arm strength well from the outfield but had more polished actions at first base on defense. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a big high back elbow load and deep hands, swings hard, swing is pretty fluid, works to all fields with line drive contact, should keep improving his bat speed as he gets stronger. Excellent student.
