Zack Anderson is a 2022 3B/RHP, 2B, SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Pflugerville, TX who attends Weiss. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.48 seconds. Hits from spread and even-based stance with high back elbow, leg lift trigger, gets lower half involved and shifts well, some length to stroke, has bat speed and leverage, can drive the ball and projects for power. Worked out in the infield, positions self well, solid one-step range to both sides, plays with some rhythm, solid arm strength, clocked up to 83 mph on throws. Also pitched, worked from stretch, compact through back with low release height, short stride with effort, fastball worked 80-84 mph with some life, slurvy bite to breaking ball, solid when in the zone. Named to 2020 National Underclass South Showcase Top Prospect List, very good student.
