Antonio Gentile is a 2023 OF/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from San Pedro, CA who attends San Pedro. Medium frame with a lean build showing some room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.27 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, showing great first step instincts as he works into it with urgency. Fundamental with his footwork and then gathers to the side. Looked to carry throws all the way to bag as he threw it 75 mph. Feel for the outfield showing and he projects here. Secondary Third Baseman, sitting back on it a bit as he works to it low. Clean funnel out front and then shuffles into throws. Confident with the glove. Threw it 73 mph during drills. Left-Handed Hitter, starting narrow and slightly open with the front side. Leans into stride and swing while showing some bat speed. Looks to drive it back up the middle and consistently found the barrel. Also flashed signs of pull-side power. Outstanding Student.
