Hayden Hossley is a 2023 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 182 lb. frame from Tyler, TX who attends Tyler Legacy. Athletic, lean frame with some length to his levers and plenty of room to fill out. Recorded a 7.31 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a simple, repeatable delivery with good lower half movements and some athleticism. Fastball worked in the low-80s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 86 mph from an over-the-top arm slot. Generates good downhill plane to his fastball when in-sync, flashed true 12-6 curveball with abrupt plane change and raw spin rates in the 2500s. Repeats well, navigates all four quadrants of the strike effectively. Will continue to improve with additional velocity. Secondary outfielder with deliberate footwork into the fielding process. Fields slightly off to the side, used quick transition and maintains some momentum into release. Produced throws up to 86 mph during drills. Fundamentally sound prospect with some real upside on the mound, will continue to improve with additional strength and minor refinements mechanically. Excellent Student.
