Luke Gouldthorpe is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Lowry, VA who attends Jefferson Forest. Recorded a 7.72 in the 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall and lean frame moves from a full windup with a long side step into a belt high leg lift as he drops the back leg and rides it down the slope with great extension and lateral movement to the plate out of a high three-quarter arm slot. Gouldthorpe has great downhill action on the fastball with good command on both sides of the plate topping 83 mph while mixing in a breaking ball out of the same arm slot with 10-4 action and a good change of pace. Left-handed hitter steps to the plate with a narrow and open stance, a high back elbow, and a long swing to contact yielding good barrel control working the ball middle to opposite field approach. Good student
