Brandon Canny is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Des Moines, IA. Showed good speed and athleticism, running a 6.89 second sixty-yard dash. Has clean footwork to field in the outfield, showcasing clean glove actions and longer arm stroke to throw. Has a medium frame with room to add strength and makes accurate throws at 81 miles per hour. Right-handed hitter with a slightly crouched and slightly open stance. Has a high back elbow, changes levels through the load with a line drive barrel plane. Shifts well to contact, executing a middle of the field approach and flashing some jump off the barrel when on time and squared. Has developing barrel control with average extension through the swing. Iowa Central Community College commit. Named to 2020 National Indoor Showcase, Top Prospect List.
