Hector Rodriguez is a 2021 SS/IF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Yauco, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.15 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with hands set forward, high back elbow, stationary lower half through swing, shows good barrel skills, can make contact to all fields. Worked out in the infield, moves well to both sides, clean hands out front, controls body well and is obviously athletic, comes through the ball and maintains balance, clocked up to 82 mph on throws across the diamond.
