Brandt Henderson is a 2022 C with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Hewitt, TX who attends Midway. Medium athletic build with some present strength for his age and room for plenty more. Gets low and flexible behind the plate, presents a good target, moves well side to side and has athletic quickness defensively, gains ground well throwing and has solid arm strength for a 2022, game actions in the drills, has the athleticism to keep improving behind the plate. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a no shift/no stride approach, will need to develop some lower half flow into contact, has good upper body strength and generates some young bat speed with his upper body swing. Very good bet to keep improving in all areas over the next few years.
