Aaron Evers is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Stonewall, LA who attends Evangel Christian Academy. Slender and long athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.13 runner, has athletic actions in the outfield, outstanding arm action with real whip on his release out front and plenty of carry. Right handed hitter, starts with tight forward hands in a tall stance, tends to stride open in his swing, short and downhill path to the ball. Also pitched, not as a much arm speed and whip on the mound as in the outfield but his arm still works well., fastball topped out at 87 mph. Shortens arm stroke on his slurve type breaking ball, flashes some depth and 11/5 shape. Improvement in his swing is the key to his development. Good student.
