Dylan Bangs is a 2020 C/ with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Boone, IA who attends Boone. Long, lanky build with present athleticism. Ran a 7.06 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Employs a side saddle start with two handed receiving actions. Displayed clean footwork gaining ground well into throws from behind the plate. Flashed quicker transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to second base topping out at 80 mph and posting a 2.00 second pop time during workouts. Right handed hitter. Employs an upright even stance with a high hand set. Utilizes a level barrel plane through the zone with good bat speed creating loud line drive contact consistently throughout batting practice. Flashed the ability to create pop to the pull side gaps when on time and squared during batting practice and games as well. Good student.
