Brody Comer is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 6-1 172 lb. frame from Sykesville, MD who attends Century. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of physical projection. Left handed hitter, has a rotational upper body swing with plenty of looseness and extension, looked to pull the ball and showed good pull power at times, consistent game at bats with good timing and barrel accuracy, projects well as a hitter. 7.53 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman, has good footwork moving through the ball and maintains good balance, has quick hands fielding the ball with a nice exchange and release, plays under control on defense, plenty of arm strength across the diamond. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a low hand set and a high leg raise coil over the rubber, gets good lower half drive down the mound, athletic enough to repeat his delivery mechanics. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, was very consistent keeping his fastball down in the zone. Slider was a quality second pitch with tight spin and good power out of the same arm slot. Good athlete who really showed his baseball skills well in the games. Good student. Named to the Spring Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
