Brennan Duhe is a 2021 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Paulina, LA who attends Lutcher. Showed a medium to smaller frame with a slender build flashing athletic movements. Ran a 7.38 second sixty yard dash. Primary Infielder who worked aggressively through the baseball with a clean gather. Mechanics showing but strength is the only thing lacking in his game. Flashed a bigger crow hop here before heaving it across the diamond. Scrappy type infielder here not afraid to get down and dirty. Secondary Righthanded pitcher working with an easy, controlled delivery showing a quicker pace. Waist high leg lift with a slight hip turn to back side and drive. Smaller arm circle in the back then delivers from a high three-quarter arm slot with an extended finish. Fastball showing some arm side run and sink topping out at 80 MPH as he worked both sides of the plate with it. Mixed in a nice slider that got slurvy at times with more vertical movement than horizontal. Changeup was shown in warmups which looked like work in progress. Pounded the strike one while working with a quick tempo. Righthanded hitter starting from an open stance with a balanced look. Kept weight on backside with before using an uphill swing path. Showed some feel for the barrel with good timing for it. Gap to gap type approach. Great Student.
