2020 PG Summer Main Event Showcase
Thomas Cheatham is a 2021 OF/UT with a 6-3 178 lb. frame from Philadelphia, MS who attends Leake Academy School. Recorded a 6.72 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic, twitchy build with wiry strength present and good overall speed to his game that allows him to swipe bases. Primary outfielder with a strong arm recorded up to 87 mph. Good carry on throws and fields out in front. Light on his feet with a whippy, short arm action and arm strength should continue to improve. Righthanded hitter with an open stance and gap to gap approach. Uphill stroke at times with some raw bat speed coming from a lower hand set. Definite strength at impact and will be able to turn that into power with a couple of tweaks. Great student. Named to the 2020 PG Summer Main Event TP List.
