William Phillips is a 2021 1B/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Irving, TX who attends Macarthur. Ran a 7.28 second sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman with a medium frame and build. Shows advanced ability when coming off the bag, smooth transitions and accurate throws to bases at 64 miles per hour. Secondary third baseman with stiffer glove actions and some developing actions. Has developing arm strength on accurate throws across the diamond at 65 miles per hour. Has a square stance with a high back elbow from the right side of the plate. Utilizes the lower half well in the swing, showcasing good bat speed and ability to impact the ball. The present strength allowed for some power to and through the pull side gap. Good student.
