Brady Collins is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Grafton, MA who attends St. John's. Recorded a 7.34 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium frame with a high waist, square shoulders and plenty of room to fill out. Primary outfielder with short steps into the fielding position, slight waist bend to field off front foot with elongated gather and some momentum into release. Clean, repeatable arm action with arm strength recorded up to 81 miles per hour in drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from a slower, methodical delivery with side-step rocker into belt high balance point and efficient stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the 67-72 mph range from a three-quarters arm slot, showing the ability to pitch to contact and get outs. Secondary offerings are in the developmental stages with some feel for spin on an 11-5 shaped curveball that stays down in the zone and a changeup that is thrown for strikes. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set and high back elbow. Fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills with downward swing path and occasional impact when on time. Plenty of projection remaining with room to add strength. Will continue to improve with continued refinement of skill set and additional strength. Excellent Student.
