Aiden McDaniel is a 2024 RHP/SS with a 6-0 142 lb. frame from Rowesville, SC who attends Gray Collegiate Academy. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.11 seconds. Primary rigthhanded pitcher, max effort delivery with head whack over front side, quick arm to 3/4 slot, elbow spiral gets offline at times, fastball worked 80-84 mph with good life to arm side, spins a solid slurve with deep shape, gets under the ball and flashes a single-plane slider with cutting action, worked in a changeup as well. Good projectable pieces here. Worked out in the infield, clean footwork with rangy athleticism, fields clean and stays balanced through it, quick release clocked up to 79 mph. Hit from balanced and slightly closed stance, deep load with body drift forward, flat swing plane with low-launch effect, solid bat to ball skills, improvable with strength gains. Named to 2021 National Underclass Showcase Main Event Top Prospect List, good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
