Gideon Antle is a 2020 OF/MIF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Licking, MO who attends Licking. Medium live bodied athletic build with good present strength. 7.15 runner, speed plays up in the games due to his energy and athleticism, is aggressive on the bases. Played both outfield and infield on defense and has next level tools and skills at both positions, showed excellent fundamentals and footwork in the outfield while making hard on-line accurate throws. Quickness and athleticism stand out in the infield, has range to both sides and is direct and quick to the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a still hand start, good lower half shift, creates bat speed and jump off the barrel, short and quick to the ball, made consistent hard line drive game contact. Very good student. Named to the Central Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
