Hiram Defries Saronitman is a 2020 1B/3B with a 6-0 230 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends Punahou. Big and strong frame. Right-handed hitter with an upright and slightly open stance. Drops hands some prior to the swing creating an uphill barrel plane. Loose path to the ball and rotational lower half, flashing some strength to and through the gap when the swing is on time. Flashed strength in game action with a hard hit single to the gap in right center. At first base, shows good feel for the position, adjusting to hops well and working well off the bag. Shows the ability throw from multiple slots with a strong and accurate arm. Actions are smooth and the general feel for the position is impressive.
