Jake Bechtel is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends East Lake. Recorded a 7.09 second sixty yard dash time. High waisted frame with long levers and room to fill. Primary outfielder with a two hand gather, has a long and whippy arm action, stays on top of the ball well. Arm strength is a real tool for him, shows some arm side run with good carry, made accurate throws at 92 mph. Right-handed hitter with an even stance and a high back elbow set. Utilizes a small leg lift trigger and has an uphill bat path. Can really impact the ball and drive it to the pull side gap, at his best when looking towards the middle of the field and not over rotating. Solid round overall, has the tools to really improve moving forward. Great student. Named to the 2021 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
