James Parker is a 2020 OF/ with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Woodbury, CT who attends Nonnewaug. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.06 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, leg lift trigger, whole-field approach with line drive swing plane, smooth stroke throughout, showed ability to consistently put together good at-bats, battles in the box and works counts for pitches he can drive, showed ability to work up both gaps and control the zone well. Showed well in the outfield, made a few very rangy impressive plays in game, reads the ball well off the bat and has instinctual actions, clocked up to 73 mph on throws. Very good student.
