2020 Northeast Prospect Showcase
Cody Bowker is a 2022 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Bowdoinham, ME who attends Thornton Academy. Large frame with projectable, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.90 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with high hands and back elbow, leg lift to trigger, looseness and whip to barrel through the zone, above-average bat speed with big power projection, separates well, consistent hard barrel throughout the weekend. Worked out in the outfield, closes well and shows athleticism through movements, fields cleanly and works through, showed off big arm strength, clocked up to 90 mph on throws. Also pitched, long arm stroke with solid arm speed, fastball worked 78-82 mph with some cut, showed solid curveball as well. Excellent student, named to 2020 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
