Mitch Fassbender is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Wauwatosa, WI who attends Wauwatosa West. Primary left-handed pitcher with a long and projectable frame. Starts from the windup with a big rocker step into a leg lift that reaches above the belt. Drop and drive actions down the mound, landing slightly open and showcasing some arm speed from a lower three-quarter slot. Fastball flashes some natural cut to the glove side at 77-80 miles per hour Strides out farther and has developing feel to spin a sweeping curveball in the mid-to-upper 70s. Has plenty of moving parts to the operation and projects well. Secondary first baseman that moves well with athleticism, has a quick release to throw and can throw from multiple slots to bases. Makes throws up to 79 miles per hour. Left-handed hitter with a spread stance, executes an all fields approach with good barrel feel and some strength at the point of contact.
