Frank Kelly is a 2023 SS/2B, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Massapequa. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet and repeats actions, fields the ball out front and glove skills play nicely at the ball, works to a higher slot on throws, quick release and shows carry across the diamond with the ability to drop slot to complete play, works through the ball well. Righthanded hitter, begins with a spread stance and hand set away from body, lower set, keeps them inside the ball throughout swing. Longer swing path through zone and works on a linear plane, projects with additional implementation of lower half. Shows strength off the barrel when squared, works to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Excellent student.
