Jack Bibb is a 2020 OF/LHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Newport Harbor HS. Medium frame with room to fill to his build. Ran a 7.17 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to the baseball with short strides when roaming the outfield, fields the baseball cleanly and comes through it well, takes his arm back to a compact arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, creates some uphill carry into throws with average arm strength, topped out at 77 mph from the outfield. Lefthanded hitter, sets up with a wide stance and a high back elbow at the plate, takes a short and quick swing with a pull side line drive approach, upper half dominant swing with rotational actions, produced lots of a barreled contact to his pull side flashing carry when lifted, consistently on time with pull side contact during his round of batting practice. Great student.
