2020 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Anthony Kai Hutchins is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Browns Mills, NJ who attends Pemberton Twp. Smaller frame with present athleticism and room to strengthen. Ran a 6.97 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with a good round, attacks the ball well and funnels it cleanly with a very quick transfer and release using arm strength up to 81 mph to create good throws to the bag. Secondary left-handed pitcher, uses good arm speed and a clean arm action through a high three-quarters slot to attack the zone with developing feel to spin a firm curveball with late tilt. Left-handed hitter, sets up open in his stance, gets inside the ball at times generating good back side contact, but turned on it well for most of the round with solid line drive contact to the pull side.
