Charlie Coon is a 2020 LHP/OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Duxbury, MA who attends Duxbury. Medium frame with athletic, strong build. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.94 seconds. Primary lefthanded pitcher, clean and compact delivery with slower tempo through wind, clean arm circle with fluidity to stroke through the back, creates angle from three quarters slot, fastball worked 80-84 mph with good command to both sides, curveball has sharp 12/6 break with good depth, slider has late biting action, mixed in a changeup at times as well. Also hit, slightly open stance with simple and repeatable swing, strength is evident in swing, torques well and gets the barrel out, good separation, drove the ball to pull side and showed the ability to drive it on a line oppo as well, very good two-way potential at the college level. Committed to Boston College, very good student. Named to 2019 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
