Ben Winslow is a 2023 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Charlottesville, VA who attends Western Albemarle. Tall and long athletic frame with big physical projection ahead of him. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a high hand load, has a short stride into contact with good hip use to drive his swing, shows good present bat speed for a sophomore with more to come as he gets stronger, ball is loud coming off the barrel. 7.57 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder, showed good arm strength from the outfield with nice carry on his throws, can further develop his footwork through the ball for a quicker release. Also plays third base. Took a turn on the mound, high hand/high leg lift delivery. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, mostly straight with occasional sink down in the zone, soft curveball with a slower arm through release, young as a pitcher but has the arm strength to continue to improve. Outstanding student.
