Gage Miller is a 2021 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Stansbury Park, UT who attends Stansbury HS. Large stocky build with good present strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a slightly open stance and a leg lift trigger, good direct swing path to the ball, stays on line well, has some lift out front in his swing, ball comes off the barrel pretty well when squared. 8.40 runner, shows good footwork and balance in his defensive actions at first base, has one spot athleticism, good arm strength for the position. Also pitched, easy controlled delivery with sound mechanics and a good lower half hip turn, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 75 mph with good downhill angle, big breaking curveball with 11/5 shape, threw strikes with both pitches and competed well. Very good student.
