Jake Brink is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-0 188 lb. frame from Whitestone, NY who attends Francis Lewis. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.48 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, length to arm stroke through the back, arches back over the rubber, gets downhill well and over front side, extends through release, fastball worked 80-83 mph with command to both sides, creates good plane, worked in curveball with good depth and control of it, solid projection. Hits from even-based stance with low back elbow, creates separation, good bat speed with thunder in his hands, has impact pull-side with HR power in that direction. Worked out in the outfield, smoothness working through the ball with athleticism to footwork, moves in well, clocked up to 84 mph on throws. Very good student.
